Filter drilldowns allow you to filter charts based on selections made on other charts. For example you can select a row on table to further filter down a bar chart to only show orders based on the row selected.

Using filter drilldowns

Filter drilldowns can be linked to other visualizations the same way as control components. You have the option of configuring them in filter section or using the variables directly in the dataset editor.
