Data Labels
Data labels are the text in the legends and interactive tooltips on all non table charts. They are populated from values in the dataset, and this section in the Format Tab allows you to edit them.
Supported charts
Data Labels can be edited for all of the following charts:
- Bar Charts (grouped, stacked, and 100%)
- Line Charts (line and combo)
- Area Charts
- Pie Charts
- Heat Maps
- Spider Charts
Editing a Data Label
This section will contain an input field for each field that will appear in the legend or tooltip. The default value for these will be the name of the column, but they can be edited to be more readable.
